How to bake a 2 layer cake with a loaf of bread?
I have to cook a 10-inch layer cake 2, but I have only one inch cake pan-10. What is the best way to go about it? Once I had to let the dough rest for 30 minutes because she had discovered my milk had gone bad and had to get more in store. It turned out flat and dense. I fear what will happen to the second layer if I leave hoping that the first and I am reluctant to do so in half because I thought I had heard somewhere that some recipes do not divide well. It is almost impossible, given their constraints. However, if the purpose of making the two layers, ie, add food coloring and some extra flavor than half have to sit a bit (what to put in the fridge – by the way, cooling of the mass may have been what made the first heavier time) and use that as the bottom layer, you can make a cake perfectly respectable. Otherwise? Cakepan use as a form, create your own foil cakepan (Be sure to use a couple of layers as you do not want this to collapse on you as you put it in the oven.) Place the foil tray on a baking sheet to prevent once it collapses inside the oven. Or just go buy another cakepan.
