Pattern Book
Can anyone recommend some pattern making books?
Hello! I want to start sewing some designs of mine that I have but, I want everything to be from scratch so I want to learn to draft/create my own patterns. I was wondering if there are any design students or people that know anything about fashion books patterns that can recommend a great book that I can learn from.
I need just a book on how to create my own original patterns. Any suggestions?

Crawford prefers to drape the basic bodice pattern if you’re doing custom work, and that’s my preference also; from that basic draped bodice you can then develop patterns that you know will fit by flat pattern methods. http://www.fashionpatterns.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=5&products_id=65
