Many individuals have alot of hobbies which include crafts. Many enjoy the pleasure of being able to make clothes as a gift for their friends and family. Some people enjoy it soo much that they actually do it as a business and open up small stores. When you are good at sewing you are only limited by what your mind can think of.
My aunt has had her own small store for a few years now. She makes all the clothes that are in the store and she even makes custom clothes to order for special occasions. There was a time when her sewing machine quit working and she was not able to complete orders and she depends on her sewing machine in order for her business to survive.
Most stores wanted to charge hundreds to have it repaired and a new model would have costed her a bundle. The sewing machine she has was handed down to her and it was in the family for years upon years. I remember seeing it when I was little and I would hate to see it stay broken. We looked online for different tutorials and even checked a few forums but nothing seemed to help.
I ran across a Repair Sewing Machine book that had a step by step guide and full illustrations to properly take apart the machine and put it together without any issues. After reading through the guide I helped her take the machine apart and we spent an evening finding out the problem and having it fixed.
We put everything back together and crossed our fingers hoping that nothing else went wrong. It fired up fine and she was on here way making clothes for customers once again. We decided it would be best to save that Repair Sewing Machine guide in a safe place just in case we encountered a problem again.
