Quilt Square
I'm making a quilt square grandmother crocheted what point should I use for the border?
If you have links to how to make the stitch as a border that would be great. This is my crochet project first, but quickly catches. 
If the rug does not need a wide edge, a nice finishing touch is a single crochet around the outside, then single crochet back again to the starting point. The reverse single crochet item called crab and makes a subtle texture edges. If you need a wide rim, I like to use is sc around the outside with the background color, then join one of the colors Contrast and CC ch, * 1, skip one and CC in the next section, repeat from * around. Join a second contrast color and CC in the first cap space, * ch 1, dc in The following chap-1 space, repeat from * around. You can make rounds until you have contrasting colors, and finish with the background color. Some people, like the borders of shell: 7 DC in a corner and jump 2 pts on c / sc next. * Pass 2 pts and 5 of DC in the next. Repeat from * to next corner, work 7 dc in each corner another. border Quick and easy is sc around. Next round: [CC 2, CH-2, 2 dc] in the first point. Skip 2 sts, work of [2 dc, ch-2, 2 dc] in the c / next and each 3 rd round. Not really need to do anything different for the corners, but you can cap 3 instead of 2 to get around easier.
